In a blur I have to try and capture my little super hero zip by. I wonder where do you get all this energy. You didn’t sleep a complete night’s sleep. You have to be as tired as I am. Were you just getting up to make sure everything was in it’s place as everyone slept and your mom was just silly in thinking you needed her help to get back to sleep?
To think how you came into this world. How scared your father and I were. We saw how fragile you looked with all those wires and tube to help you breath. Tiny 27 weeks into the world you came. Slowly you showed us that with prayer, faith, and your will power there wasn’t anything you wouldn’t jump over. Slowly you got stronger and we were in awe. Everyone that heard of your story seemed just as amazed as us.
You are our Little Super Hero. Amazed I shall always be by all your energy, amazed by the questions you ask. The memories you seem to recall that I wouldn’t think you would but you do. Amazed that I have been blessed to be your mother. Amazed how fast time is flying. Almost as fast as you.
For now I will stand back but close enough in case you need me. Fly high my little super hero.
